Who you are buying from

What you are buying

One personalised sleep plan, written from the answers you give in our sleep quiz. It is between 20 and 30 pages depending on your answers. You get it three ways: on a web page with a permanent link, as a PDF you can download and keep, and by email.

What it costs

R199, once. This is the full price. There are no other fees, nothing renews, and there is nothing else to buy. No VAT is charged because Better Today is not a registered VAT vendor. On your bank statement the payment appears as BETTER TODAY.

How you pay

Through Stitch, using a card, an instant EFT from your bank, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Capitec Pay. We never see or store your card details.

When you get it

After you pay you answer the full quiz, which takes about ten minutes. Your plan is usually on your screen within a few minutes of you finishing it, and in your inbox shortly after. If anything delays it, you will have it within 24 hours or your money back, your choice.

You are 18 or older

Better Today sells to adults. By buying you confirm you are 18 or older.

Cooling off, and why you are asked to waive it

South African law gives you seven days to cancel an electronic transaction without giving a reason, under section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act. That right does not apply to a service that started with your consent before the seven days were up, under section 42(2)(d) of the same Act. Because your plan is written and delivered straight away, we ask you to agree to immediate delivery at checkout, as its own tick box. Agreeing gives up that seven-day right once your plan is delivered.

This does not take away anything else. Our own 30-day money-back guarantee is more generous than the right you are giving up, and your rights under the Consumer Protection Act are unaffected.

Checking your order

Before you pay you can review what you are buying, change your email address, and back out. If we ever fail to give you that step, or fail to publish the information the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act requires, you may cancel within 14 days of receiving your plan and get your money back.

It is educational information about sleep habits and timing. It is not medical advice, it is not a diagnosis, and it is not treatment. Better Today is not a medical practice and the people behind it are not registered health professionals. See our medical disclaimer.

What we promise, and what we do not

We promise the plan will be written from your answers, delivered when we say, and that every health claim in it carries its source. We do not promise a particular number of hours of sleep, a particular result, or a result by a particular date. Sleep is individual and no honest plan can promise otherwise.

If your plan does not arrive, arrives broken, or does not reflect the answers you gave, tell us and we will fix it or refund you, as the Consumer Protection Act requires.

Your copy of the plan

Your plan is for you. You may keep it, print it and use it for as long as you like. Please do not resell it or publish it as your own.

Nothing here reduces your legal rights

Any part of these terms that would take away a right the Consumer Protection Act, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act or POPIA gives you has no effect. Those rights come first.

Law

These terms are governed by South African law.
